I like the fact that there is alot of action going on in this Poem like Chewing on the hiar, pen, and pencil, and then Dreaming followed by google-ing. Obviouzly it is against youtube and prooves how it is distracting, and says that we would be Bored endlessly without it. But there isn't much Ryhming or any Poetic styles being use...atleast I haven't noticed any@
thanks for the heads up :-)
I like your use of repetition- 3's a good number to follow. The order you chose also seems to build up. The ending was also fitting in terms of the number of syllables- it seemed to keep a good rhythm. In terms of the rhyme of google and doodle- i dont know if it was intentional or not, but it might be nice if you thought of two things for chew and dream that rhymed maybee to continue that pattern so it doesnt seem out of place. but overall nicely done
There is definitely something cool about this poem that I can't exactly put my finger on. I'm not sure if this was intentional, but when you listed your three things, each time (excluding the last) the syllables went 1,2,1. Since they matched, it sounded really good and had a flow that I haven't seen in anyone else's poem. And for some reason, pen seems to rhyme with hand in my head. Either way, sounds awesome!
Thanks everyone
But I just want to clarify, this poem isn't against youtube. It's making the point that students will be distracted no matter what, so youtube is no different. It's actually a rebuttle to the distraction argument.
